My students do a lot of programming for their robots (we have sub-group who work on different robot). We only have one, so far, which is old and not enough to serve my 65 students. When they work on the robot and upload a program, they have to go borrow the one that we have from another group. It is not very efficient. When the team goes to competition, we have the same problem. We can only have one student working at a time in one sub-group and it really is time consuming. Through engineering, robotics and programming, students learn about STEM careers, and they learn the skills related to these fields. They also learn about team work, leadership, helping one another. Their motto is: Be inspired, Inspire Others. They clearly live by the team's motto.
