The students in my class live in an urban city where many come to school hungry. 100 percent of our student body qualify for free lunch. Oftentimes problems faced at home make it difficult for kids to come to school ready to learn. Despite many obstacles, my students come to school each day eager to learn and excited about being in our classroom. They truly love school.
