My class family will be learning new things about health and nutrition, with that I would love to provide my students the chance to practice shopping for themselves for those healthy items at the grocery store. Having students that live at or below poverty line means that often they are not getting those type of real world experiences and this is a daily way to provide interactive ways to practice in our classroom. Currently I have a standard home living set up with a table and kitchen, however being able to afford switching those items out can be costly, but I know the excitement it will bring my students will be well worth this investment!
