The stools I am requesting for my students will aid in their learning a great deal. Most of my students need the flexibility to move around to concentrate. However, traditional classroom seating does not give them that luxury. The stools being requested will give students the freedom to move and wiggle around while learning, helping them retain the information being taught. More and more students need this flexibility and ultimately are learning and retaining more information taught in the classroom. Research states that flexible seating helps stimulate the brain, aids in children's focus levels, and has many long and short-term health benefits. Our world and our students are changing, this project will help change my classroom to better them.
