These materials will make a difference for my students by assisting in their learning. My students will use the majority of the materials for sensory breaks. These breaks allow for my students to get their wiggles out and explore the environment with their senses. These breaks help them stay calm, focus, and process the world around them. Some students will use these materials to regulate their body, so they can sit still. Once ready to learn, the use of tactile instructional material makes learning a multi-sensory experience. This leads to the desire to learn and aids in retention. With your help, together we can provide my students with a calming and educationally appropriate classroom.
