Providing my students with flexible and differentiated seating options will be a tremendous asset to our classroom. Due to different learning needs in our classroom, many students greatly benefit from choosing where to comfortably learn and work throughout the day. Currently, students are choosing to sit at different tables, or sit/lay under desks, or on a carpet. Students feel empowered when they can choose where to work, and I notice a significant improvement in their focus, productivity, and engagement. I am confident that additional flex-seating options will optimize collaborative learning, enhance learning experiences, and strengthen our sense of community in our classroom.
