One of the best parts of working with high school students is helping them explore possible careers by finding ways to integrate their passions with education. As students become more and more interested in creating videos, from Snapchat and TikTok to short films, the need to equip their creativity has grown. To do so properly involves not only cameras but additional video production items such as lights and light bulbs. Unfortunately, the appropriate light bulbs are not only delicate, occasionally needing to be replaced, but also expensive. Your support will allow our students to continue creating quality artifacts for class and our school district. It is vitally important, during this time of uncertainty, to help our students find ways to express themselves, find their voice, develop student agency, and provide them with opportunities to find in learning experiences ways to manage and cope with the demands of daily life. Your donation will give them the opportunity to develop their visions in an artistic fashion in our Video Media Arts course. We appreciate your support in helping us bring light to our students' imaginations.
