Gone are the days where science lessons involved dittos of workbook pages!! Today's children need hands-on creative lessons that truly prepare them for the challenges of the 21st Century! These Kindles would allow for hands-on engagement during enrichment, centers and stations, as well as daily learning activities. My students will also have the opportunity to explore Science aligned apps to further connect with everyday life, and therefore make their learning far more concrete! My students come alive when they have the opportunity to use technology in the classroom! Our world is so technology forward which is why we need to adequately prepare our students for the future. My goal is to bring QR activities into my classroom! I would love my students to go on scavenger hunts using QR Codes where they must scan the QR Code to get the clue for the answer to a question. Technology makes my students feel like they can accomplish anything, and I would LOVE to put that power in their hands! Help me take my students' love of learning from the classroom to the world!
