This group of sixth graders already are excited to get back into the classroom and dive into reading, writing & all things middle school! However, due to COVID, we are unable to be in person right now. I'm hoping by getting new books to put on our shelves, my students will be able to check them out through me and have independent reading time at home during all this worldwide chaos. I plan on using these books for First Chapter Fridays to introduce new reading material to these guys. I'm really excited to get these kids stoked on reading and I just know that if they get brand new books to look through, coming back to campus is going to be that much more exciting!
