Art has always been an avenue I have used to encourage my children to learn and be inspired. I work in a high poverty school and it is difficult to have enough art supplies to go around. I also believe next year will be even more challenging with Covid-19. I am teaching art online currently and most of my students only have notebook paper and a pencil at home. I have become very creative with my lessons, however my students were in awe of all of the color in their art at school I would like to return that pleasure and excitement of art to them.
