These Chromebooks will be a welcomed addition to our class! Imagine the learning that will be happening when writing partners collaborate to research information about an animal for their nonfiction books or when reading buddies complete sight word activities to improve fluency skills. In order for me to meet New York City standards, my students need to begin using updated equipment! Not only will these Chromebooks allow for endless teaching possibilities but it will be an amazing tool for our students with special needs. Technology can reduce or eliminate barriers to learning for students in special education. It allows them to be more independent, keep up with their peers, gain self-confidence, and collaborate with classmates.
