The rug that I have selected has 24 spots, enough for each individual student. Our current rug is getting too small as our class continues to grow. This rug will help our students spread out a little bit and they will each have their own square to sit in and be responsible for. They will learn about personal space and how that impacts our learning. I want the children to feel comfortable because in kindergarten we spend many hours on the rug doing "whole group" activities, like morning meeting, stories, games, songs, and more. I think this rug will promote student engagement and make our circle more inviting!! Thank you so much for your support!
