This project for technology will be one of many. My students are growing extremely frustrated and discouraged with the lack of resources in the school building that the district is requiring that we have access to for data. One area that my students struggle with is their math stamina on the computer and when they see computers their immediate response is "are we testing again". I want to change that narrative. Although all of their assessments, in class as well as district wide, must be completed on computers, my students need much practice and exposure to technology. More practice will help boost their confidence which will in turn boost their performance and test scores. Additionally having access to technology will help me help the mathematics come alive for them. Students will be able to manipulate graphs of functions based on real world scenarios at the tip of their fingers.
