My students need two iPads during their pull-out extension and intervention blocks. I have a group of sweet, hard-working gifted and talented students, as well as second language learners, that would benefit from additional, consistent access to technology within the classroom. We will use the iPads for coding, science simulations, and research, as well as creating portfolios on SeeSaw and completing projects for presentation. Our program involves a heavy STEAM and goal-setting component; more technology in our classroom would allow us to document learning, work with robotics, and explore long-term goals. My learners hope to work with Ozobots, Lego Robotics challenges, and even to explore DNA and forensics.
