It will help them stay calmer and focus more on their education. These students need to learn to focus on work to transition back into their regular schools. With these Chromebooks they will be using the same technology as their peers in their home schools, and won't feel that they are lacking skills. These will help keep them focused more on learning and less on behaviors. These skills will help them succeed in transitioning. We have noticed that students who have access to technology have been able to interact as a group which allows them to learn new skills, that helps with transitioning behavior.
