In this day of digital entertainment it becomes challenging to motivate students to pick up a book. This is especially true for emerging or struggling readers who may not associate reading with joy and satisfaction. With the beanbags chairs I hope to motivate the unmotivated to willingly pick up a book. My goal is for students to associate comfort with reading. Reading success is directly correlated to reading hours and I'm certain that with the beanbags individual reading hours will increase! I want my students to be successful readers and the connection they make with reading and comfort will last a lifetime!

About my class
