Students will be able to use these items to complete learning centers in all academic areas and fun learning games while feeling equal to others in the classroom. If families were unable to provide headphones of good quality at the beginning of the year, they have had to use borrowed headphones from me (which are of less than optimum quality). Many of the cheaper headphones we have, have broken or do not have the best sound quality for state mandated testing. We are currently down to only 2 classroom sets, which causes easy distraction when technology can be heard across the room. Good headphones will level the playing field on academic access with technology and social equality.
