We have a little over 300 athletes who participate in 16 different sports teams and this requires a lot of organization, lots of preparations for lots of events. From tailgating activities to fund raisers, to award ceremonies to the signing of a soccer player with a prestigious university, or to the celebration of a win at the state level in volleyball, we need to set up tables either in the school foyer, or the atrium or on the field... It will be so much easier to roll eight tables at a time with a rolling cart. Our student-athletes participate in activities that encourages them and prepares them to organize events. By doing so, they can learn the useful skills of event planning and volunteering. This represents an extra level of responsibility and commitment along with community service. These activities give our student-athletes a chance to support each other during their sporting event and to go beyond what is traditionally expected of a student-athlete. This is our way to groom well-round students.
