As the school counselor I want to give my students the tools to help them towards their autonomy and independence. The journals will open self exploration towards better versions of one self. With the teachers pay teachers gift cards my students will benefit from resources to best learn social emotional learning skills both virtually and in person. These donations will help assist my student to grow towards succes. Through these resources my students will gain imperative social emotional skills such as: self management, self-awareness, responsible decision making, social awareness, and relationship skills. With your support I will be able to support students through a variety of challenges, including anxiety, grief, and anger both virtually and in person to promote a school environment designed to propel students toward positive mindsets and behaviors supporting social/emotional development through direct (e.g., classroom curriculum, group counseling and individual counseling) and indirect (e.g., collaborating or consulting with staff, families or communities) services.
