I have a passion for art and want my students to have the same love as I have. With their individual supplies, we can produce works of art as soon as we are back in the classroom and for years to come. I have always incorporated art into reading, science, math, and social studies to help engage students. I have also used art as way to just calm the classroom. Having ownership of their supplies will make them feel as if they are real artists. This is something my class has never had.
