Our students are in class from 9 to 4. All of their assignments are virtual. If each student has an iPad to work on they would not only use it for my digital design class but also for all of their other classes. Currently we are designing portraits for community members who live in the neighborhood. This community awareness project can not be effectively implemented without the digital design tools to complete it. For this assignment, each portrait is created with the students’ flag that they associate with. They are also creating collage videos describing their dreams for the surrounding community.
