For our project, we will spread positive messages with painted rocks and clean up our community running space. These inspiring messages will be painted on rocks that families and community members can find and move around spreading the positive messages beyond our running space. During this time we will also educate the girls about environmental impacts and sustainability. This will teach them to take care of and respect their environment as well as the lessons from the Girls on the Run program. This program empowers girls to reach their limitless potential! It teaches many life lessons to the girls about leadership, diversity, collaboration, kindness, community service, and health both physical and social-emotional. Now, more than ever, these lessons are needed for our girls and we hope to teach these lessons to our community. This sustainable project will allow our team to serve our community by beautifying our running space and sharing inspiring messages. These tools will allow us to inspire many girls and our community for years to come.
