Todays student is not just a learner of information. These students will not be ask to recall facts and figures but they will be ask to think critically, collaborate, communicate and be creative in the work force. I can teach fact after fact but that does not prepare students for the future. These STEAM projects will allow all my students to experience project based and hands on learning successfully. While focusing on the project the students will also learn valuable skills that will insure success in the work place of the future. Funding of these Ozobots will allow the students to learn how to code and learn that technology is not all about games but has practical applications as well. The engineering items will help increase the student's creativity and communication skills. The items in this project will simply make the students in my class better people and learners for the future.
