I love teaching and my students need me! Teaching and coaching are my biggest passions! I enjoy seeing my students succeed by doing what they like and encouraging them to do their best and follow their dreams. I had a very difficult time myself, and it was hard to be where I am today, and I like to serve as a role model and show my students that anything is possible and that they can accomplish their dreams even when it seems impossible. My students come from a very low-income background. They struggle to bring equipment and the necessary things to practice, such as shoes, clothing, baths, balls and many more things. It is hard to even bring a bottle of water, which I normally provide because I see their dedication. Some of them do not have shoes, batting gloves, cleats, or protection. Everything we have is donated from others. These materials will help them to have something to start practice in a more comfortable way and feel motivated with the goal of reaching their dreams and keeping them away from the streets. They are experiencing different struggles; they come from different ethnic groups and economic status. Therefore, this material will encourage them to keep working hard and believe that anything is possible no matter where they come from, no matter what they look like or what difficulties they face, they still have a chance.
