The materials I chose are going to make all the difference in my students' willingness to participate. Often, they shy away from speaking in front of others, so I figured this could be a way to get them to actively engage without making them uncomfortable in class! Allowing students to use whatever form of communication that they deem comfortable is important because it is impossible to learn anything when you are uncomfortable. My goal is to try different things with the whiteboards. It can be vocabulary review, test prep or even a test! There are so many ways that whiteboards can be used in a high school classroom.
