Our school’s community is filled with many different opportunities to help support students on their path to becoming good citizens. To be a good citizen, the students work hard every day at being respectful, responsible and safe. We provide them with basic necessities to become good citizens. Such as hairbrushes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant. They earn points as they show positive behaviors and can choose to spend those points at the school store on the items listed above. The items I have requested are to stock the school store and allow students to spend their points on items for themselves.
Our school’s diverse population of students are trying their best every day on behavior goals. These students come to school with many different challenges that need to be met and then learning can begin. Some of the resources I requested are hairbrushes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant. These items help a student feel successful as though they come to school presenting their best self. A student learns best when they don't have to think about meeting their basic needs.
