My students would use reliable heavy-duty headphones to help them access materials that will help them be successful readers and mathematicians! They will be able to access learning in many different ways specific to their learning styles - such as listening to reading, or using online computer games! With reliable headphones, students can also access grade-level text even if they are struggling readers, and they can play reteaching videos for difficult math concepts. We use a workshop model that includes a variety of learning "stations" during the day, and students will be able to use the headphones to help them access materials regardless of what other students are doing in the classroom.
