This trip will allow for the students to see how teamwork can help accomplish anything. They will be learning the science of the game such as velocity, angle and decision making, as well as incorporating mathematic skills such as averages, percentages and score keeping. It will also help them in realizing that teamwork is key to success and that hard work and determination will help them in achieving their lifelong goals. It's not everyday that students can sit and enjoy time with their friends at a ball park. Please consider in allowing them to be able to enjoy a day in the sun and a reward for all the hard work they put into their educational goals on a daily basis.
