My students are so cheerful and optimistic despite the school closures. They've been resilient despite the major changes and different platforms we've been trying. They try their best to complete their classwork and we've been working hard on keeping our classroom relationships with each other by writing letters. Along with my students, parents have had to adjust to both the academic and emotional changes for themselves and their children. It's especially difficult for parents who don't have stable internet who depend on the school to help provide resources for their children's education especially during these uncertain times. Not having access to a printer now that we have been remote learning makes it difficult to accommodate and reach my students who are still struggling and for those that need more materials to strengthen their skills for the next grade. This project will provide me with a printer that will allow me as a teacher to print many resources for reading, math, and be able to continue our classroom relationships. We will use the printer for printing assignments, templates for hands-on projects, and letters for our classroom relationships. I will be able to use this printer for my future classes in case we have to continue or have to remote teach again.
