Having a leveled, diverse classroom library will make my ELA lessons more engaging and effective. I want to have a variety of books in order for students at all levels to improve their fluency and comprehension skills. Students will also discover new interests and learn about new topics and cultures. These books will used during both guided reading and independent reading time. In my classroom, I want students to realize the importance and effectiveness of everyday reading. By having these books, I will be able to promote reading, and students will become avid readers in no time.
