With the addition of these books to our classroom library, students will be able to choose stories about people from all walks of life, allowing them to make connections between the stories and real life, while also exposing them to new outlooks and perspectives. This will help create conversations that will lead to a more accepting place for all, as well as give students many opportunities to grow a better level of acceptance and understanding of other belief systems and cultures. Our students will benefit from the amount of representation in this selection of books, and will have many opportunities to learn through them as well.

About my class
