Flexible seating allows me as the teacher to give my students a chance to sit comfortably around the room while working on their academic assignments. During independent work time, my students are given the choice to sit at their desk or find a spot around the room. During this time, I pull small guided groups to my table for skill-building and practice. Currently, my students are tipping over their chairs while at my table. These wobble stools will help my peace of mind that they will not fall back and hurt themselves. With these changes in seating, I know that I will be able to reach out to the students that are not fully engaged during small group time.

About my class
