STEAM is an abbreviation for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. It integrates learning across curriculums and gives students the opportunity to think about and investigate real-world problem-solving. Providing STEAM Bins will allow my students autonomy over their learning. It will provide occasions for teamwork, experimentation, adaptation, problem-solving and build resilience. STEAM bins will also allow all students to engage and contribute to their level! STEAM is present in every part of our lives. By giving my students exposure to and the chance to explore these concepts, my hope is it will spark enthusiasm and a passion for it. STEAM careers are growing, and sparking enthusiasm now could possibly lead to an interest in a career later.
