The ability to subscribe to magazines and to buy books that are of interest and accurate reading levels to high school students who plan to go into the trades (machining, welding, electrical, construction, automotive, cosmetology, HVAC), is vital in helping them increase reading and writing skills for their futures. These materials will allow students to feel more confident as readers and writers. They each have to take industry certification tests and will have to interview for jobs. As a worker with well-developed reading skills and writing skills, they will have higher chances of obtaining employment as wells advancing in their fields when these skills are well-developed.
