Let's face it, kids like to move a LOT, and they should! The "sit still, be quiet" message makes it challenging for many students to focus and meet their full potential as learners. Studies have shown that movement can be an effective cognitive strategy to strengthen learning, improve memory and enhance learner motivation! I can only imagine how motivated my students would be to read sight words or count to 100 while walking down the tactile path or jumping from one balancing stone to the next. Every day I see my students learn and grow by playing together. These materials can help me keep kindergarten developmentally appropriate. Thank you so much for considering donating to my classroom and making a difference in my students' learning experience!
