I am excited to deliver more rigorous and engaging math lessons to my students this upcomng school year whether that is in the classroom or from a distance online. In sixth grade math class, it is crucial that students not only can clearly see the lesson unfold on the screen, but can also follow my modeling to become better students. In the classroom, students can follow notes or learn how to show work for math problems by following work shown under the document camera. Students can also be leaders and present their work to their peers. We do not officially have a plan for returning to school in the fall, but if we are fully participating in only distance learning, then I will be able to use this document camera to record engaging lessons that make the students feel at least for a little while that they are in the classroom.
