In my classroom we strive to make knowledge acquisition (learning) an engaging, enjoyable, and stretching experience. My students are active, funny, creative, and important. I truly believe that someday they each have the potential to change the world for the better. My purpose as their second grade teacher is to give them all the tools that they need in order to think for themselves and do just that. Many of my students face big challenges outside of school, especially this year. When they come to school it is very important to me that they are able to come to school and experience a classroom environment that is designed just for them to help them learn, have fun, and succeed.
