This bass xylophone Orff instrument will benefit my students by providing a new instrument to use in our classroom. We currently do not have any Orff instruments to use for instruction in our classroom. The curriculum that we use often has wonderful Orff accompaniments to use and this will provide our students that opportunity. Orff instruments can be used by students to understand the fundamental concepts of music such as pitch and rhythm, as well as provide opportunities for students to create and explore. I am looking forward to implementing an Orff instrument into our weekly learning and using it during our two yearly performances.
