We want our students to continue loving the outdoors and being physically active. We for years have been taking our students sledding as part of their P.E. program. We are located on the best piece of property for outdoor adventure and winter P.E. activities. Our school features a hill that gets taken advantage of for sliding in the winter time from people in our community and even surrounding communities. Currently the sleds that we have, have been in our possession for over 15 years. The students have taken very good care of them. However, like everything with time, they wear. It is time for new ones as the old ones have gotten a lot of good use. I would love to continue incorporating sledding into our P.E. program with quality equipment. This could also open the doors for opportunities to have winter P.E. days where students from my three schools can take advantage of sleds, snowshoes, and skis.
