These writing supplies will enable my students to be active readers and notetakers and help them to get involved in the material. My goal is for my students to collect data and retain information as they read. Active reading skills such as highlighting and making margin notes will act as a catalyst for critical thinking skills and further their learning. Making sure my students are interested, engaged, and invested in their learning tasks will help them to develop higher-order thinking and problem-solving abilities as well as learn the content. Having the necessary supplies to read and take notes effectively will assist my students in learning independence and accountability in their education.

About my class
