The chemistry department was audited recently and it was found that we did not keep our chemicals (acid and flammables in particular) safe enough. Of course, our budget allows for the purchase of day-to-day chemicals, but the school struggles to provide us with expensive cabinets. So it does make sense and we are committed to providing students with a safer environment, but we need help. We need to keep our flammable chemicals handy in the lab, and safe to avoid any accident. Thank you very much for considering the wonderful donation of two storage cabinets that obey to code restrictions. Thank you for your generosity!
