Students have many sensory needs and they need a place to go when things get too much for them. The room will be a quiet place to decompress when their sensory issues become a problem. Sensory issues have a great impact in my students’ ability to function in the classroom setting. The bean bag chairs and lounger will be a safe place for the students to sit and not hurt themselves. The ear phones will help students with auditory issues, every day noise or the lights in the classroom. Each of my students will benefit from these items. Then they can continue learn and be safe.

About my class
