The book sets I will receive will help my students not only by providing them with books, but by allowing them to experience reading as a social activity as well. My students enjoy independent reading each day and often pursue our classroom library in search of interesting books. I want to inspire deeper connection with literature and help students see that one of the best parts of reading is discussing and sharing the experience with others. Classroom book clubs will help students practice reading/comprehension while showing them the magic of connecting with others through the shared love of a book.
