This project will help my students in multiple ways. I teach reading intervention in small groups with students from grades K-3. One of my main goals during our groups is to increase reading fluency daily.
All of these materials will help my students to grow in the area of reading fluency. I am requesting pointers and reading guide strips to help my students track the words that they are reading. I am also requesting Quick Reads to provide my students with daily cold read practice with comprehension questions for better understanding of the passage.
More materials that will help me accomplish my goals in the classroom include sight word practice with Mini books and sight word phrase flash cards. Sentence building dominoes will be a fun interactive way for my students to practice independently. Letter tracing boards and magnets will help my Kindergarten students become fluent in letter recognition. Lastly, I would like to add some durable board books to my class library for my younger students to enjoy during free reading time.
Thank you to everyone who supports learning!
