Many of my students struggle with access to food. As a small charter school we do not have a lunch program. Currently many students are relying on food that I (and other's) buy with our own money and donations from parents. It is still not enough. No student should have to rely on granola bars and ramen noodles. With this project I hope to be able to help even a few students have access to healthy snacks in order to help with focus during class and provide some nutrition. I feel that this is the first step in helping students be successful in and out of school.

About my class
