My students are never able to find books they are interested in when we go to the library. We have a need for high-interest books at multiple levels to hit the needs of my students, especially my ESL population. We saw a need for change, and we made a list of all the books that I am requesting. My students came up with the titles, created an online voting tool, and all students voted on the books we would want most for our library. My students want to read, but they do not have access to books they will truly enjoy. Building a classroom library is the answer.
