Students who are able to grapple with difficult concepts have a higher chance of conceptual understanding because they have explored the ideas on their own. Not only this, but students who are able to actively explore scientific ideas are more engaged than students who are delivered ideas and concepts from the teacher. My goal is to have enough supplies so that we are able to create collaborative groups to explore scientific concepts. I am hopeful that with these supplies, it will be more convenient for us to do inquiry-based lessons without having to borrow from colleagues. It is my hope that in the next few years I can purchase all of the science supplies necessary. Thanks for investing in our inquiring minds!

About my class
