Students will be given the chance to expand on old PE games by bringing new cross-curricular drum line session into the PE setting. They will use the exercise balls for fitness days, but also by drumming, taking turns leading the class with their own beat and truly forming a student-led PE class! They will all be given an exercise ball and a bucket, along with safety sticks to create beats and really tie in fitness through their drumming. Students have so much fun and will be a unit where they will perform in front of other classes. It's exciting to see where this equipment will take us and all the new ways we can use them in the gym! We cannot wait to start new activities in the gym by introducing cross-curricular approaches.

About my class
