My students will use the headphones to take advantage of computer programs provided by my school. My students are required to use certain programs every day. These programs help with literacy skills such as blending words, reading short passages and learning sight words. The kids get so excited when they move to a different map. With the headphones, it is less distracting to the other groups in the classroom. As a Title 1 school, a lot of my students are from low-income homes and cannot afford to buy extra things. As a teacher, it is hard for me to provide for my family and for the 21 kids in my classroom and having this project funded would help so much.
