My students have embraced learning language through reading. Their confidence continues to grow each day in their abilities to read, write, listen to, and speak Spanish all because they can read Spanish. We all learned our first language through listening and reading, help my students do the same for their second language - Spanish! I have been working to incorporate Free Voluntary Reading time in my classes. We need more books to choose from! These books span a variety of topics and reading abilities, so students are sure to find one that interests them! I am hoping to grow a population of students who love Spanish AND reading!
